OUR PHILOSOPHY

CA nurtures technical expertise and conceptual thinking through our immersive approach to arts education. Our expansive arts program includes 2D art, 3D art, media art, dance, music, theater, and technical production. Drawing inspiration from the vibrant Boston arts community, we foster an environment for collaboration and innovation.

Where Creativity Flourishes and Dreams Take Flight

The arts encourage us to question, engage with, and understand the world from different perspectives. That’s why we consider the arts to be an academic discipline. In our classes, we blend skills development with the freedom to explore and express ideas. Our quality of instruction and resources, breadth of offerings, and opportunities for interdisciplinary study are nearly unmatched among secondary schools.

“My favorite class at CA is definitely photography. It introduced me to something I never expected to love. The class offers a lot of freedom to express our artistic identities while still providing structure and guidance to help us steadily improve our skills. Capturing the details, light, and moments that I used to overlook is a creative and eye-opening experience.

Within five minutes, one of us had started playing the piano and the rest of us were singing in harmony. I remember feeling in that moment like I had finally found a place where I belonged.
