For a school this personal, the faculty-designed electives in our curriculum are unrivaled. Your academic experience won鈥檛 be quite like anyone else鈥檚. Ready to try something new? Go broad. Find a passion? Go deep.

Your perspective, culture, and life experiences matter. Honoring every individual in our diverse community means seeing and respecting the whole you鈥攎entally and physically, socially and emotionally, artistically and academically.

Learn more

CA is intentionally small and relational. We don鈥檛 have a class ranking system or give academic awards. You鈥檒l be well-prepared for college, but our focus isn鈥檛 on measuring you against others. It鈥檚 on developing your potential.

Weekly one-on-one advising provides structure to help you expand your comfort zone and make sure you鈥檙e successful. You鈥檒l notice the difference it makes to get consistent support from an adult who knows you well.

Fully Engaged

Creativity is CA鈥檚 core. It鈥檚 part of what sets us apart. Here, everyone studies the arts as part of our curriculum, with plenty of opportunities to do more. Athletes don鈥檛 have to choose, either. From competitive team sports to dance, we offer options to suit every interest. And living and learning go hand in hand鈥攐ur residential life program benefits both boarding students and day students who enjoy an active campus in the evenings. It鈥檚 all part of the CA experience.

鈥淭hroughout a single day, I am able to experience seven hours of fruitful learning, sing my heart out in chorus, explore our delightful campus through a camera lens, enhance my softball capabilities, and conclude the day with a productive study hall session.鈥

Boarding Student 路 Queens Village, N.Y.

鈥淚 chose CA for its very welcoming community for me to transition into from such a small middle school. I also really appreciated how kind and open faculty members were.鈥

Day Student 路 Acton, Mass.

鈥淎t CA, everyone follows a path that highlights their interests, fostering a community where there is a love of learning. I was also very drawn to the close-knit community of CA because it differed greatly from the public middle school that I attended previously. So, the concept of common trust, and seeing teachers at dinner or athletic events, made me excited to experience an environment that cared so deeply about its students.鈥

Boarding Student 路 Orleans, Mass.

鈥淚 knew that CA was right for me because of the freedom it offers students, especially those in the boarding program. From extended campus to the commuter rail into Boston, I have been able to find myself and my independence. Additionally, CA鈥檚 wide curriculum offers me a great opportunity to explore my interests and discover new ones.鈥
