Update from the Data Governance Group

ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï News

ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï has established a Data Governance Group this year to ensure that the organisation has a proper inventory of all its data sets and is GDPR compliant. To that end, ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï is asking all of its members if they have any historical data sets which may be owned or part-owned by ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï to please inform the ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï office (bapen@bapen.org.uk). This is to ensure we have an understanding of what ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï data our members possess, so that we can be GDPR compliant.

On a separate note, this Data Governance Group is also looking to recommend a data repository software (such as Redcap) which could be used for future ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï research and survey data so that all such data is held in the same place. Please do email the ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï office (bapen@bapen.org.uk) if you have any recommendations in addition to Redcap which we should be considering.
